I don’t always walk into a store for one thing and leave two hours later wondering where the afternoon went, but when I do, it's usually Bass Pro Shops. Every dad has a weakness. Some collect watches. Some collect cars. I apparently collect reasons to wander around Bass Pro longer than necessary. The moment you walk through the doors, it feels less like a store and more like an outdoor theme park for grown-ups. Massive displays, beautiful wildlife exhibits, boats that make you start calculating questionable financial decisions, and enough fishing gear to convince you that your next cast might be the one they write stories about. The selection is outstanding, but what keeps me coming back is the experience. Whether you're a serious outdoorsman, a weekend fisherman, a hunter, a camper, or just someone who enjoys looking at really cool stuff, there's something here that'll grab your attention. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the outdoors. That's the difference. You don't feel like you're talking to salespeople. You feel like you're talking to people who'd probably rather be on a lake somewhere and know exactly what they're discussing. As a

Went in looking to find better seating for camping with my wife and after trying every chair they offered, she decided she just didn't know what she wanted. The ultimate goldilocks situation. While that was disappointing it was better than ordering multiple chairs online and returning them all. I appreciate the stores ability to give a first hand experience with all their products. I'll be back and perhaps next time she will experience something that fits her better. In the meantime I need to go back and pick up some lures...

Not only great shopping, fantastic service. Shopped before lunch on a Thursday. Staff helped me find just what I needed for my husband. Extremely dog friendly! My Nikolai and I had a great time meeting everyone and he loved all the treats and attention ❣️ *Four paws from Nikolai*

This location is not as large as the one in Las Vegas where I just moved from. That one has a 2nd floor and a 40,000 gallon fresh water aquarium and it’s 165,000 square feet. This one still has pretty much everything you need for camping , hunting , and fishing. They even have Boats , ATVs , and Side by Sides. The store is clean and well organized and the staff were friendly. I bought 2 Redhead camouflage shirts that were on sale for $12.99. Of course they had lots of camouflage coats , pants , hats , and gear to choose from. They sell pistols , rifles , shotguns , archery equipment , fishing rods and reels to include fly fishing gear. If you need a new grill or smoker they have them too. Bbq sauces , rubs , cast iron skillets , cooking utensils , you know the drill. They also have old fashioned candies and moon pies for the kids. T-shirts for the whole family , decorations , paintings , boots , shoes , everything. So get away from the crowds and check out the store one day.
